Word of Caution

As with all information, be careful what you put on these window tags. If someone knows your address, they know what your car looks like, they know when you are out! You may end up coming home to a break in. A name should be sufficient to help authorities track you. Maybe a National Insurance number (social security) or something that the Authorities will find useful, but not the average joe in the street. - Rob

Tip for using the Placard

This placard is really a neat tool to use when out. I have lamenated one and use a dry erase marker for information concerning my hike/cahce, time I parked, etc so I can use it over and over and over. Plus it is more enviro friendly. I have found a note on my truck thanking me and it kept the Police from hanging around. - JHawk0769

Luv the gone geocache placard; great idea. Maybe it'll help keep from getting a few pov's towed, lol. Just kidding. On a serious note it is a good idea to help promote the game. - ArmyWifeSeabreeze

This is a very good idea.I see it as a possible meeting with a muggle preventer for some caches and could let officials know just what that car is doing back down that lane..Very good idea - chief_illini217

I like the idea of the placard, it very well could be a life saver. I use it when just out for a walk in the woods geocaching or not.
